The Warm Ears, Warm Hearts Foundation is actively looking for volunteers interested in joining our Ambassador Program! We accept adults and teenagers alike. After all, this organization was founded in 2017 by someone who was 15 years old!

Overview
"The Warm Ears, Warm Hearts Foundation is a Florida based nonprofit dedicated to collecting and
giving winter clothing to children in need. Started by one lone high school student, Alejandro Morles
launched this foundation at the age of 15. As of April 2020, Warm Ears Warm Hearts Foundation has
delivered clothes to over four hundred families in need."

The Ambassador program is an integral part of Warm Ears, Warm Hearts. By being a Volunteer
Ambassador, your main responsibility would be running a clothing collection at your respective school /
organization.

1. Service Hours
   1. As a Florida registered charitable nonprofit, Warm Ears, Warm Hearts can sign off on service hour forms for most high schools and organizations. Warm Ears, Warm Hearts Foundation Inc. is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization recognized by the IRS.
2. Charitable Work and Expansion of Mission
   1. Warm Ears, Warm Hearts is a charity. With your help, we’ll be able to increase our impact and send more boxes of winter clothing like we did last winter to over 100 homeless families in the Bronx. You’re directly a part of a greater movement of kindness. If our donations increase, we can expand our mission into more neighborhoods, such as Chicago.
3. College Applications
   1. Not only will your work brighten the future of the children we help, it will also brighten your academic future if you are a student; being an official Ambassador for Warm Ears, Warm Hearts looks great on a college application! Our ambassadors have been accepted into prestigious universities such as: UChicago, UFlorida, UMiami, Emory U, Dartmouth, Southern Methodist U, UMichigan, Georgia Tech, Tulane, and Boston U.

Requirements

1. Communication
   1. As a Volunteer Ambassador, you must be in constant communication with your school/organization and us. We do this over Microsoft Teams, which you will be signed up for if you are accepted for this position. After all, how are you going to host a collection with no communication?
2. Collection Date and Distribution
   1. The winter clothing collection must take place between August and November, so they can be used during the peak of frigid weather. After the clothes are collected, they’ll either be dropped off at our central location (address will be provided) or at a pick-up spot agreed by both parties.
3. Moral Character
   1. Warm Ears, Warm Hearts is not only a charity, it is a brand. We pride ourselves on being genuine people who care about those around us. For that reason, Warm Ears, Warm Hearts holds all the right to dismiss anyone who fails to act according to those expectations.

Objective

1. Collection Specifics
   1. Your winter clothing collection accept any new or gently used item, as long as it’s in good wear. Any winter clothing is accepted, such as: coats, beanies, mittens, jackets, scarves, etc. These clothes will be sent to socioeconomiclly challenged families in the Northeast.
