The VISTA member will have the opportunity to enhance and expand existing child abuse prevention efforts by contributing to the development of the Sacramento County Children’s Report Card. The VISTA member will participate in a community-wide undertaking with community leaders, public/private service providers, community groups and neighborhood residents, including youth, by: 1) collecting the research of existing county and state data sets and conducting qualitative research; 2) assisting in the development of a community report that will include a summary of research and analysis, conclusions drawn, data summaries, qualitative assessments, data modeling, and graphs.; 3) conducting outreach and engaging stakeholders; and 4) creating a strategic social media plan to promote the Report Card.
