ORGANIZATION: DFOWW Incorporated

dfoww, Incorporated is a 501(c)3 educational nonprofit charity organization located in Atlanta, Georgia. Our mission is to help bridge the literacy achievement challenges that disproportionately impact low income, minority individuals and communities. The literacy services we provide are free of charge to the public.

We are seeking volunteers to serve as Board members on our nonprofit's Board of Directors (working board). Currently we are in need of a Board President and Secretary. Our board is made up of 6 committee's:

1. Teaching Committee (English degree required) or Education degree required
2. Editing Committee ( English degree required) or Technical Writer, Journalism experience required
3. Correspondence Committee (respond to emails)
4. Appropriations Committee (fundraising, securing grants and other sources of funding)
5. Marketing and Social Media Outreach Committee (Creating ads, marketing the nonprofit)
6. Foreign Language Committee (bilingual, Spanish speaking and reading)

The above listed descriptions are general.

We are in search of Individuals who are editors, technical writers, ESL instructors, Spanish teachers, English teachers, College English majors, computer science majors and those with strong leadership skills. All candidates will be required to commit to serve on one of our 6 committee's and commit to a minimum of 3 hours per week in fiduciary duties. All duties can be performed remotely. Yes, it's ok if you live in another State other than Georgia. Must be a USA citizen.

We are a very structured nonprofit charity organization. We are seeking candidates who have the availability to assist us in carrying out our charity mission. Joining a Board of Directors is an extremely serious responsibility.
