Love to hike? Want to make a difference in the lives of children fighting cancer? CureSearch for Children's Cancer's Ultimate Hike, the original 28.3 mile fundraiser on the Foothills Trail, is celebrating 10 years of telling children's cancer to take a hike! Join the Ultimate Hike team and learn how you can lace up as our Coach for the Nashville Ultimate Hikers.
Coaching for an Ultimate Hike is one of the most important volunteer roles at CureSearch. Ultimate Hike Coaches prepare hikers by training them for the Ultimate Hike: 28.3 miles in one day on November 7, 2020. Because of you, someone is going to cross their first endurance finish line EVER! Because of you, someone is going to make a lifelong choice to get healthier and give back more. Because of you, a dad is going to feel empowered to fight back against a disease that is rendering his family helpless. Because of you, a mom will find a more healthy way to grieve the loss of her child.

Description
CureSearch for Children’s Cancer is a national non-profit foundation that accelerates the search for cures for children’s cancer by driving innovation, transcending research barriers and solving the field’s most challenging problems. We fight every day to make treatments and cures possible for the 47 children diagnosed with cancer each day. We do this in three ways:
- We accelerate the search for cures by posing essential challenges to scientists and inviting teams to overcome them with innovative research approaches.
- We transcend the barriers of a broken research system by establishing new pathways to end children’s cancer.
- We provide resources and education, so no child faces a cancer diagnosis without a fully equipped support team.
