El hospicio de Healing Care Hospice, busca voluntarios para socializar con nuestros pacientes desde su casa. Durante estos momentos deficlies nuestros paciented se encuentran aislados ahora mas que nunca. Buscamos voluntarios que puedan dar un poco de su tiempo para platicar con nuestros pacientes, leer a nuestros pacientes,tocar intrumentos, o si ustedes tienen otras ideas que le gustarian compartir lo damos la bienvenida.
T odo el voluntariado se hará desde la comodidad de su hogar. El processo de aplicación y orientación sería hecho en línea vía zoom o por teléfono.
Solicitantes deben residir en el sur de California para participar.

Hospice Care
Hospice is a philosophy of care that focuses on enhancing quality of life and preserving dignity for a person with a life-limiting disease. The focus of hospice is on comfort and support rather than curative treatment. Hospice care relies on the combined knowledge and skills of a team of professionals to coordinate care tailored to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of each patient and family. Hospice care is typically provided in the patient’s home, but it may also be provided in assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and freestanding hospice centers.
Hospice Means Healing
Our approach to care is based on our belief that we can make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families. Our name begins with healing because we understand that while cure is not always possible, healing is. We strongly believe that quality hospice care promotes not only physical comfort, but also emotional and spiritual healing for the patient and family. We provide ongoing grief and bereavement support to help the patient and family cope with the many losses that occur during the course of a terminal illness, and we encourage and support the patient and family to seek out opportunities for personal growth, reconnection, and reconciliation.
