Nonprofit organizations have distinct purposes and operate independently from the government. They support numerous and diverse causes. Grant writers use their skills to secure funding for these causes. The Wellness Center for Older Adults is needing a Nonprofit grant writer to familiarize themselves with our organization's programs, goals and financial needs and prepare grant proposals based on the requirements and parameters of the funding source. After compiling all the information required by the funder, the grant writer will compose and submit the proposal to the executive director for approval.
The Wellness Center for Older Adults is a Plano-based nonprofit agency that serves seniors in Collin County. We provide low-cost preventative health care, free mental health counseling and benefit resources, placement and assistance to seniors at risk, and a volunteer transportation program for seniors after release from an inpatient facility.More opportunities with Wellness Center for Older Adults
