Graphic Designer Needed to Change the World And Help Serious Patients With Cannabis

We are looking for someone that can put in at least 10 to 15 hours that wants to make a big impact on peoples lives. You will be doing graphic design. This position is remote and can be done anywhere.

We are based in Oakland, California and operate a non profit that helps low income patients with chronic and fatal health conditions such as epilepsy, MS, cancer and Parkinsons among others, get access to tested legal cannabis for free. We do this by connecting patients who prove they are low income and have SEVERE medial conditions with licensed dispensaries, manufacturers and farmers that want to help them.

Many of these patients are seniors and though their governmental aide can help with pharmaceuticals it doesnt help with cannabis. The irony is that cannabis is usually less expensive and has less side effects.

We not only are helping patients but we are also gathering data on how the cannabis is or isnt helping so we can present this to the public, doctors, law makers and scientists.

We have a team that works remotely and recently lost our designer. We have LOTS of creative ideas for informative or funny ad campaigns. We need some small changes to a mockup of a new website and will be making info graphics and other material. If you would iike to learn After Effects, we have training material and the need for edition/animation help.

We have a variety of motivated people on the team including two tech pioneers that are accustomed to building big movements from the ground up. Our main goal with this organization is to introduce unique technology that will help give cannabis patients all over the world a voice and even if we cant give them free cannabis we can tell their story, a story that has often be dismissed. We can explain further but besides getting patients in California the medicine they need, we are developing an app that will serve as the foundation for a global clinical trial-like survey where we can curate testimonials and quantitative evidence on what diseases and ailments cannabis fights. Instead of pointing to small studies people can point their sick friends to a survey of hundreds of thousands of people.

Your job will be to coordinate projects with the CEO as well as the social media expert.

We cant offer you money but we can give you some great portfolio pieces, help you spend your downtime doing something truly epic and life changing and can help boost your social media as well.

If you have any video editing skills and want to help out with that as well, thats also an option.

Our organization is just getting started but we think this will be pretty big.

In fact we have three 15-minute video meetings per week so the team can bond and show progress we are making during these difficult times.
