PCSO's Peoples' Market is a food pantry serving LGBTQ+ people and allies who are food insecure. We work with God's Pantry Food Bank, University of Kentucky Agricultural Programs, Nourish Lexington, and other partners to supply the pantry and get food to those who need it.
As a People's Pantry Operations Assistant you will help unload and sort food deliveries, stock pantry shelves, fridge and freezer, divide food into boxes for delivery, check information and carry food boxes outside and load into car for clients who pick up at the Pride Center, break down boxes, take out recycling and trash, and clean tables and surfaces after food has been sorted, stocked, and delivered.
Ability to lift 50 pounds is preferred, but accommodations can be made if needed.
Work must be completed on Wednesdays between 1:00 and 6:00 pm. 2-hour shifts are available within this time frame.
