The Volunteer Coach will work alongside the volunteer department in training new volunteers and set them up for success. This role will include going over safety regulations, animal handling protocols, and how to use Volgistics. This position helps to extend the resources in the Volunteer Department to assist and direct the needs of our volunteers, staff, and animals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducting the 1st Training for new volunteers
- Going over safety regulations
- Going over animal handling protocols
- Showing new volunteers how to access Volgistics
- Giving new volunteers a tour of our South Elgin location
