For our volunteers, we ask for the following:

- Have a compassionate heart
- Respect for others
- Time for our patients

For our volunteers, there are direct and indirect opportunities to be a volunteer.

For direct opportunities, we ask that volunteers visit patients in their homes or respective living facilities. While there, volunteers can talk to patients, scrapbook, play music, other simply read to them.

For indirect opportunities, we encourage patient phone calls, grocery and general shopping errands, and letter writing.

For group volunteers (such as music therapists and pet therapists), we encourage volunteers to engage our patients through their art and their hobbies!
