Education & Empowerment serves people with disabilities. We are good at our job but we don’t have the time to focus on our stories. We would like to find someone that can take quality pictures that speak for themselves. Every day we each loose a piece of our own history as well as our collective history. We want your pictures to help us hold on to it or share it with others that weren’t there or give it to the world. And we would like to develop meaningful training for our staff or the people we serve through video. Your video skills, recording, editing and finalizing, could take a typically boring, ineffective training session and transform it into an amazing training that will be remembered and appreciated. We provide content, you create the production.

You must be at least 18 years old and use your own vehicle to drive from site to site within Polk, Highlands and Hardee County (where you go can be negotiated). Your time commitment is very flexible as well as your schedule. Consistent weekly hours is preferable. Our office is located at 1134 1 st Street South, Winter Haven, FL, 33880. We are able to certify community services hours. And volunteering looks really good on an application for school or a job.
