ORGANIZATION: On Point for College

OPFC has special project opportunities at various times throughout the year in office administration, event planning/ execution, fundraising/ donations and more. You might help by prepacking backpacks for new college students, host a donation party to obtain basic college supplies and dorm room essentials for each of our new college students living on-campus, and solicit sponsorships or silent auction donations for one of our annual events!

We break down barriers that prevent young, underserved individuals from achieving education and career success.

Description

On Point for College is a not-for-profit education and career attainment support program established in 1999. We aid individuals in overcoming the barriers to post-secondary education by helping them access and succeed in college and training and certificate programs.

We also help them leverage their skills and educations into meaningful employment opportunities. Since 1999, volunteers have played a critical role in making it possible for On Point to help more than 10,000 individuals pursue their dreams of higher education.
