The purpose of this position is to perform Mass Care readiness and capacity building activities needed to enable effective service delivery (in a disaster response).
The Red Cross is looking for team members that would like to Prepare, Respond and help our clients Recovery from a major natural disaster. This opportunity will have the option to deploy to other regions or stay local when needed in your community. Must be at least 18
Orientation or Training
During a disaster, would need to be able to commit to 6 or 12 hour shifts while the shelter is open
Will need to complete the following training courses.• Disaster Cycle Services: An Overview (Required) • Mass Care: An Overview (Required) • Fundamental courses for all Mass Care activities strongly recommended
