Eat Well Yolo: West Sacramento Drive-Thru Food Giveaway
Please join us as we provide free food to those in need in the West Sacramento area! Volunteers will assist with the setup and cleanup of the food distribution, as well as traffic direction. Volunteers will also be inspecting food, making food bags, and loading the bags into clients' vehicles. This distribution is drive-through style. Face coverings are required for all volunteers and clients.

You must attend a mandatory Virtual Volunteer Orientation to learn all you need to know about volunteering with YFB before you attend your first in-person event!
Qualifications:
- Review our mask policy here
- Wear closed-toe shoes
- Ages: 17 must receive parental permission
- Ages: 12-16 must be accompanied by an adult
- Able to stand, bend, reach, intermittently*
- Able to lift 1-5 pounds routinely and 5-45 pounds occasionally often with another person
- Responsible and Organized

Description
Yolo Food Bank is looking for caring, responsible, and respectful individuals or groups to help provide folks in our community with ongoing access to healthy foods. We are currently looking for volunteers to fill slots volunteering at distribution sites around Yolo County with socially distanced and contactless drive-thru and pick-up distributions. We also need volunteers to work on-site at Yolo Food Bank repackaging dry product, organizing boxes of food for residents in need, and assisting warehouse procedures.
