Writer's Ink is a high school run nonprofit with multiple branches at different public libraries in the OC area.

Along with other high school volunteers, you will be teaching creative writing workshops for elementary age kids at Katie Wheeler Library, University Park Library, and Heritage Park Regional Library. As a volunteer, you will gain leadership, communication, and organization skills along with the opportunity to join a board to organize summer camps, fundraisers, writing contests, and much more.

We are looking for motivated high school students who want to make a positive impact and give back to their community.

Due to COVID-19, we will be transitioning online for an indefinite period of time. Our summer camp is scheduled to run from August 3 to 14, weekdays from 10am-12noon Pacific Daylight Time. Volunteers are expected to attend two training session a week before the start of camp, and be available 30 minutes before/after the event.
