Board Members: Marketing, Fundraising, Management Experience for our Migration/Repatriation for the Development of Africa Project(Visit website www.kha-nu.com)
Kha-Nu National Community (KNC) Board is seeking new board members to join our team starting in July with backgrounds in marketing, fundraising (grants), human rights, and development.
1 year term, board meets twice a year and we are not asking for contributions. (Bylaws)
KNC is a nonprofit NGO in (Recommended) consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council and we are the only African-American organization in the U.S. working at the United Nations in pursue of reparative justice and human rights objectives for Descendants of Enslaved Africans in the U.S. (African Americans).
We are looking for people who are self-starters and feels strongly about our mission and wants to share it with everyone! These individuals would also help market our funding plan at the board level and possibly manage other volunteers who are working on funding efforts. Kha-Nu National Community, Inc., (KNC), formerly Africans in America for Restitution and
Repatriation, is a New York 501(c)3 NGO in (recommended) consultative status with the United
Nations ECOSOC. Since 2015, KNC has been committed to the UN Global Compact
corporate responsibility initiative and its principles in the areas of human rights,
poverty, and the environment. We integrate these important values throughout our
business including our corporate strategies, policies, sustainability frameworks, and day-to-
day operations.
