We operate a community garden/greenhouse located at 322 E. Beaver Creek Blvd Avon, CO. It has many uses from providing healthy options in our food pantry to holding classes that teach people of all ages how to grow their own, nutritious food. We are in need of Garden/Greenhouse volunteers to help with watering, weeding, planting, harvesting, property maintenance and other projects as needed.
This opportunity is available throughout the week - we'll work with your schedule! Evenings and weekends are available. Volunteers should be able to lift up to 30 lbs. Must be 18 years or older unless accompanied by a guardian. Exceptions are made for groups of minors on a case by case basis. The garden/greenhouse is not wheelchair accessible at this time.
