Hospice Bereavement Volunteers offer support to grieving individuals and families over the phone. The volunteer provides follow-up information, emotional support and companionship to clients under the supervision of the Social Work Director and Volunteer Coordinator. Bereavement sessions are not professional counseling services.
No experience is needed, training is provided.

Family Hospice brings compassionate, professional care to individuals experiencing a terminal illness. We seek to assist individuals in the communities we serve find meaning in the dying process by providing hospice care, not just for end of life, but for all of life. Heartlinks Grief Center, a program of Family Hospice, assists grieving children, individuals, families, and groups through individual and family counseling, peer support groups, and other supportive community programs regardless of ability to pay.
Family Hospice provides compassionate care to persons with a life-limiting illness and their loved ones. A team of dedicated physicians, registered nurses, home health aides, chaplains, social workers and volunteers offers physical, emotional and spiritual support.
