Provide neighborly support to older adults in Northeast San Francisco and gain a deeper connection to your community. At NEXT Village, we believe in the power of community to achieve society-wide change in the way we age. Everyday, we work to build caring communities that dignify aging and honor our desire to age in the place we call home. To achieve this, we need volunteers to help with picking up groceries, provide a friendly phone call, and assist with our social events. Make new friends and expand your San Francisco connections through volunteerism with NEXT Village SF!
You can choose to help in a variety of ways, such as: serve our senior members as a walking companion, help grocery shop, assist with technology issues, or make friendly check-in phone calls to brighten someone’s day.

Description
NEXT Village SF promotes better health, fosters an active lifestyle and fights social isolation among the large and growing 60+ demographic in northeast San Francisco. We know that better physical and mental health result from the increased community interaction and personalized support available to members of our Village.
With the help of volunteers, NEXT Village San Francisco provides a common sense, neighborhood-based approach for aging adults who want to remain in their own homes, promoting engagement, connection, and awareness.
