Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Los Angeles Regional Foodbank

Our volunteer opportunities keep growing as the number of people needing food assistance keeps increasing. We are actually in the middle of kicking off a new partnership with LA Unified School District to distribute boxes of food to students and their families at various school sites using a drive-thru model. Below is a brief description of what volunteers would be doing:

We need volunteers to help with the distribution process by loading boxes of food into vehicles as they drive by.

The following are the minimum requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old or older
  • Be able to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Be able to stand up for the entire shift
  • Be able to participate during the entire shift
