We are seeking volunteers to help us run our market each Saturday! Volunteer duties include setting up for the market (setting up tents, tables, chairs, assisting vendors with setup, etc.), assisting vendors and customers while the market is running, crowd management, packing up our tents, tables and other items when the market is over.
Volunteering with GPFM is a wonderful way to engage with your community, meet neighbors and local food vendors and learn about sustainable food practices in Indiana. Volunteer shifts are flexible & easily scheduled online, and all volunteers receive a FREE t-shirt!
We are also seeking community members to serve on committees. Committee opportunities include fundraising, marketing, and community outreach.

Mission Statement
OUR MISSION IS TO SUPPORT LOCAL, SUSTAINABLE FARMERS AND PRODUCERS WHILE CREATING A GATHERING PLACE FOR COMMUNITY INTERACTIONS.
Description
Garfield Park Farmers Market was founded in 2016 and is held every Saturday in May through October in historic Garfield Park, located on the south side of Indianapolis. Our market is food-focused and is proud to champion vendors who use sustainable (often organic!) practices. Every Saturday during market season, we strive to provide an inclusive gathering space complete with a variety of vendors, community partners, live music, and children's activities. Volunteers are the foundation of Garfield Park Farmers Market - we would not be where we are this season without help from our community.
