The MultiCare gift shops are much more than simply a place to pick up get-well cards or flowers. Our gift shops serve as the 'heart' of our hospitals offering a place for families to escape when tending to sick loved ones, or for staff to enjoy a break from workday stress. The Gift Shop at MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital is seeking volunteers who love interacting with people and want to make a difference for those in need!
Position: Gift Shop Volunteer
Duties include:
- Greet and assist customers
- Operate touch screen cash register
- Help design and set up displays
- Deliver flowers and gifts to patient rooms
Help needed Monday-Friday. Morning shift 9am-1pm or afternoon shift 12pm-4pm.
What is needed:
- Great customer service skills
- Able to commit to a one day per week shift and 100 hours of service
- 16 years of age or older
