"Stuff The Bus" (Aug 7-9) - Weekend Volunteer

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: The Salvation Army of Summit County

"Stuff The Bus" is the annual program of the Salvation Army aimed at providing school supplies for children in Summit County.

This year we will be at four major retailers around Summit County (TBA) on tax-free weekend (August 7-9).

Right now we are taking names/emails/phone numbers/zip codes of volunteers who would be interested in helping staff our location spots. We anticipate each shift will be a two-hour window. As more information is available you will be contacted to discuss locations and times that would be best for you.

Volunteers will be needed to hand out flyers to give to shoppers with details on the school supplies we are collecting (at the entrances) and additional volunteers would be needed at the exits to collect the supplies for donation.

You can volunteer as a family, part of a corporate service weekend or on your own. Volunteers must be 18+ to serve.

Thank you for your willingness to support the students of Summit County.
