Work as your schedule allows as we have no hour requirements. This is a fun, no stress, volunteer opportunity which will get you outdoors and some exercise. While it is a historic farm, your duties will depend on your interests.
Opportunities can include: working a shift in the store, helping with school tours, explaining various aspects of the farm to visitors (18 historic buildings), assisting with maintenance and gardening, assisting with 2 special programs (cane grinding/syrup making in Nov/Dec. and plow days in March) as well as a Docent program for those who can devote more time. We also need people who can play stringed instruments (guitar, banjo, fiddle, piano). Period dress is required (late 1800's) except on Mon. & Tues when park is closed.
