The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is a nonprofit organization established in 1987 by researchers and families who had lost loved ones and wanted to take action against this leading cause of death. Today, AFSP combines science and the grassroots and gives those affected by suicide a nationwide movement of over a million people. Our mission is to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. With local chapters and events in all 50 states, AFSP's chapters are at the forefront of suicide prevention. We are looking for passionate volunteers to join our team!

  • Those who live with mental health conditions in their families

  • Anyone interested in preventing suicide
