CanCare Atlanta has gone virtual! Phone, video call, email, text, snail mail all work when reaching out to someone who needs emotional support when facing the trials of cancer treatment and recovery. Until it's safe to meet in person, we'll be virtually by the side of those who need us.
Our volunteers are cancer survivors who provide one-on-one emotional support to people who are currently being treated for cancer. We also have former caregivers who support the cancer patients' caregivers. We provide detailed training and support for our volunteers.

Description
Our 600+ trained volunteers have survived cancer, and they want to help you do the same for yourself - or a loved one! Whether you need encouragement or want to give it, CanCare is the place for you. Support is available over the phone, via text, email and in person - one time or on an ongoing basis.
