Pathlight HOME (Grand Ave ECDC)

Volunteers are needed to help around the office! In order to house more than 6,000 residents in 25+ years Pathlight HOME has a lot of moving parts. Volunteers can help by sorting files, stuffing envelopes, making copies and performing other administrative work.

Help with these tasks is most needed at the beginning and end of the month.

As a precaution, Pathlight HOME is only accepting one volunteer at a time in the office. Exceptions may be made for those in the same household.

Shifts are currently available within the following time frames:

Monday: 9am-12pm
Tuesday: 9am-12pm; 3-5pm
Wednesday: 9am-12pm; 3-5pm
Thursday: 9am-12pm;3-5pm
Friday: 9am-5pm

Pathlight HOME changes the lives of homeless and low-income Floridians by providing affordable housing and economic opportunities. We are a non-profit organization providing over 600 formerly homeless individuals with permanent, supportive housing in Central Florida. Originally incorporated as Grand Avenue Economic Development Corp., we have helped more than 5,000 of our homeless neighbors through our "housing first" philosophy.

Pathlight HOME also operates two social enterprises, Pathlight Kitchen and Sobik’s CafĂ©. These enterprises create an opportunity for low-income community members to learn culinary skill sets, enabling them to overcome barriers to employment and earn higher wages.
