Succor Community Outreach Volunteer - Job Description

The Community Outreach Volunteer is the primary responsibility for developing, coordinating, and integrating all outreach components related to community outreach necessary to build, sustain and improve Succor Solutions, Inc., and the local 'Succor America Campaign’.

The Outreach Volunteer will report to the Operations Executive Volunteer and work alongside other Succor Coordinating Volunteers to make sure all needs and desires are met of the organization. This includes working on identifying funding sources to fund your position long term.

This role would suit someone with:

1. Passion for community outreach, education and organizing, sustainable growth and resilient resource development.
2. A background in community organizing and/or interest in community organizing; individuals with a background in customer service and sales/marketing have the skill sets to succeed in this volunteer opportunity or individuals interested in sales/marketing have the ability to gain knowledge and skill sets to succeed in multiple career fields.
3. "Love your neighbor as yourself there is no commandment greater than these."
4. Is conscious about what they say, do and are positive about their experiences in life.
5. Is an excellent communicator.
6. Is able to write clearly, accurately and succinctly.
7. Can be flexible with their time, schedule to meet need and desire, goals and objectives.

The ​Outreach Volunteer’s ​key mission is to communicate, organize, mobilize and advocate to Succor Ambassadors in order to properly promote Succor Solutions, Inc.’s mission, goal, and objectives and integrate them within each community.
