ORGANIZATION: Happily Ever After Animal Sanctuary Inc

Are you a lawn-care enthusiast? Do you enjoy giving back to dogs and cats in need? If so, we have an amazing opportunity for you! We are looking for a dedicated volunteer to join our Sanctuary Maintenance Crew!


Responsibilities may include:

  • Lawn-mowing
  • Weed-eating and removal
  • Clearing brush
  • Some lifting, bending, pushing, and/or pulling
  • Some cleaning of animal waste

Requirements:

  • High attention to detail
  • Excels in the art of communication and works well with others
  • Understands how to operate lawn maintenance equipment, such as lawn mowers, leaf blowers, weed-eaters, etc.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent schedule of lawn-mowing (on a weekly or bi-weekly basis)

Reports to: HEA’s Sanctuary Operations team

Commitment: Approximately 3-6 hours per week (or bi-weekly).

HEA will provide all lawn-care equipment, as well as any necessary training and instruction.
