• This position, along with the temperature-taking screening station, are part of additional screening the American Red Cross has implemented in the interest of the safety of our volunteers, staff, donors, the blood supply, and general public health regarding COVID-2019 outbreaks.
• Greet staff and volunteers and model excellent customer service behaviors, manage flow at a temperature-taking station to ensure only individuals passing a temperature screening are permitted access.
• Explain purpose of temperature screenings to staff and volunteers and ensure they understand the reason for a deferral, if applicable.
