Please Join Willow Wish as we host a "Christmas in July" Food Drive to benefit Matthew’s Crossing and the United Food Bank. Holiday Inn in Mesa has teamed up with us for the event. We will have a Drive-up food donation station to allow for safe social distancing. We are in need of volunteers to help set-up, sort canned goods, pass out prepared craft packets as well as to facilitate craft making, and event clean-up. Masks, gloves, and sanitizing supplies will be provided for all volunteers. Social distancing standards will be upheld. We hope you can take a moment to help us! As a small non-profit we could really use your help!

    Event tear down and clean up

    Event Help- Craft Table. Help distribute craft supplies to drive up attendees as well as helping facilitate the craft during the event.
  • Sat Jul 25, 2020 - 09:45 AM to 12:45 PM
    Can Food Sorting- Helping to sort food that is brought in to event.
  • Sat Jul 25, 2020 - morning / 07:45 AM to 09:45 AM
    Event Set-up. This will consist of laying table cloths, setting up various stations, hanging signage and preparing for the event.

Willow Wish is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization. We exist as a scholarship fund seeking to make the birth center experience available to any family in Arizona who would choose a birth center setting, regardless of their ability to pay out-of-pocket.

Description

It is our belief that peaceful, evidence-based care should be an option for all birthing families.Although the midwifery care at the birth center is generally covered by insurance, the facility fee of $3,500-5,000 is not. That remains the responsibility of the birthing family.We are working to make birth center dreams a reality for anyone who is wishing to birth at an accredited birth center in Arizona.

If you would like to support our vision to provide evidence-based birth to families in Arizona who are wishing for a birth center birth and cannot afford the out-of-pocket cost, there are several ways to help. We thank you for your support of birth choice for Arizona’s birthing families.
