Carrboro Recreation, Parks, & Cultural Resources Department
We are currently seeking volunteers to help with a Community Food Distribution duties include: Guide/direct cars, count households, pack boxes, load cars, clean up, etc.
Due to COVID-19 distributions are held on a drive-thru basis. Boxes are placed in trunks.

To enrich the leisure needs and quality of life for citizens by providing accessible facilities, creative and diverse recreation opportunities and a safe public park system.
The Carrboro Recreation, Parks, & Cultural Resources Department strives to offer something for everyone no matter age or interest. A wide variety of programs and events are offered year round. Whether you are a toddler, a youth, a teenager, an athlete, a traveler, an adult, or a senior, the Department has a palette of programs available. Year round athletic leagues for youth and adults are available, like youth baseball and basketball, adult softball and ultimate Frisbee just to name a few. Adults can take a day trip, enjoy a hike, or participate in dance, zumba, yoga or nia. For youth, there are an endless amount of summer camps and year round activities like toddler playtime, young gymnast, dancing and art programs.
