WHAM is seeking individuals and groups (up to 20 volunteers) willing to volunteer at our Friday Food Distributions from 7:30am - 12:00pm. We typically serve over 150 families and volunteers assist with any of the following: direct traffic, gather client information, load food into Client's trunks, and assist with clean up. Available dates are:
- June 13th, 27th
- July 11th, and 25th
- Aug 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th
- Sep 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th
Participants must be able to:
Stand for up to five (5) hours
Bend, stoop and reach
Lift repeatedly at least 20 Lbs.
Work outside in all kinds of weather - we distribute rain or shine
