If you love treasure hunting, this is definitely the right position for you. We receive countless donations to the store every day and could use some assistance sorting what is and is not sellable. If you’ve got a nose for a steal or bargain, bring on over your expertise. You’ll be working with our team to unpack, sort, and prepare items to be sent over to the store. This volunteer position will take place at Sunshine House. You might get dirty from time to time, so consider wearing something comfortable that you’re okay getting dirty when serving.
As a sorting volunteer, you’ll be helping get the best pieces on the floor! The sooner we get items out, the sooner they move and the funds can help one of our many programs here at Sunshine House. Your keen eye will provide services to members of our community. And, you’ll be working alongside employees of the organizations, so it’s a great way to meet new people.
We are following safety protocols in response to COVID-19. These include: health screenings, signing in and out, requiring masks, and social distancing. Please contact the Volunteer Coordinator with any further questions.
