Volunteer Dental and Medical Support on Mobile Dental Clinics - Morrow County
Medical Teams International
Left untreated, dental problems can lead to pain, difficulty eating and increase the risk of debilitating health conditions. Two significant obstacles prevent people from receiving dental care - cost and access. Medical Teams International is committed to breaking down these barriers by delivering free dental care to patients on our fleet of Mobile Dental vans. We’re proud to serve our neighbors with the largest volunteer-powered Mobile Dental program in the United States.
Are you a dental or medical professional who’d like to serve vulnerable neighbors in your community? Dental professional volunteers are the backbone of the Mobile Dental Program. In five to seven hours, you can see around eight patients who are in desperate need of dental care. Our clinics provide extractions and fillings with an occasional specialty clinic. We are always looking for dentists, dental assistants and registered dental hygienists to volunteer. Commit to one day a week, month, quarter, or year. Volunteers choose which day and how often.
Additionally, in light of COVID-19, we are also seeking medical professionals to provide basic medical screenings as people arrive to the clinics.
Fill out an application for either opportunity by visiting the link below. Please Select "Mobile Dental | Care & Connect" as your area of focus.
If you have questions, feel free to reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org or else contact the clinic manager, Krista Handy, directly at (503) 341-6617 or email@example.com.

About Medical Teams International
14150 SW Milton Court, Tigard, OR 97224, US
To demonstrate the love of Christ to people affected by poverty, conflict and disaster.
In our broken world, so many people are suffering. They are pushed to the margins and forgotten. Men, women, and children are persecuted and left without homes. They are hurting, sick, and in crisis.
God calls us to love the vulnerable, to dare to love like Jesus. He uses us to provide those in crisis with protection and care.
We work to restore health as the first step to restoring hope. Because every person deserves the chance for a better life. Because every person - no matter where they are or how desperate their situation - matters.
