Help meet a basic human need-FOOD-at Marillac St. Vincent's East Garfield Park location. We have adapted our packing and distribution processes to maintain safety and physical distancing during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Our pantry is open to clients on Wednesdays & Fridays for distribution, and on Tuesdays & Thursdays for prepacking food. Distribution days involve greeting clients and providing food with Covid-precautions in place. Packing days involve preparing up to 100 boxes/bags of each of the following: canned/dry goods, produce, bakery/snack items, frozen meat or/and hygiene items. You may also be sorting/gleaning food, making boxes, or other organizational tasks. We are also looking for client intake volunteers on W-F who have experience with customer service and basic data entry. Our volunteers come from all age groups, experiences and backgrounds but what brings them together is their desire to be of service to the community in East Garfield Park.
