Marillac St. Vincent Family Services

Help meet a basic human need-FOOD-at Marillac St. Vincent's East Garfield Park location. We have adapted our packing and distribution processes to maintain safety and physical distancing during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Our pantry is open to clients on M-W-F for distribution, and on T-Th for prepacking food. Distribution days involve greeting clients and providing food in a highly structured process to minimize contact. Packing days involve preparing up to 100 boxes/bags of each of the following: canned/dry goods, produce, bakery/snack items, and frozen meat. You may also be sorting/gleaning food, making boxes, or other organizational tasks. We are also looking for client intake volunteers on M-W-F who have experience with customer service and basic data entry. Because we are limiting our total number of volunteers/staff to maintain distancing recommendations, we ask that anyone interested in volunteering do their scheduling directly through the Volunteer Manager.
