ORGANIZATION: Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Boston

  • 1 person is interested

Seeking a mentor for Sammy, an adventurous, creative, and friendly 9-year-old boy who lives in Hyde Park. He is passionate about math and likes going to museums, and can't wait to look up to and learn from his Big Brother. The right Big would help Sammy build his self-confidence while being funny, athletic, kind, and someone with whom he can feel safe and happy. Sammy would also love to play and watch football, go to amusement and trampoline parks, see a movie, create or build things, try new foods, or go on any new adventures!

The right volunteer will be a young man from any religion, ethnicity or background, between the ages of 21-35, who likes sports and would enjoy hanging out and doing activities with a "great kid." Matches meet twice a month for a couple of hours, mostly on the weekends, and make a year commitment. Match support is provided by Clinical Match Specialists.
