Succor Solutions, Inc. is looking for Non-Profit Advisory Board Members, to serve on an advisory board. This board serves as an mentorship and accumulation of vast knowledge on many different fields. The advisory board is led by the executive board, however has no formal role or voting ability. These individuals may volunteer or participate in other aspects of the organization, but no title or power referring to the 'Advisory Board’ may be used, except in formal convening meetings of the executive board. Individuals from the advisory board may be called upon by the Executive board or Executive unit (lead by the ED/CEO) upon request, based on need and desire.

The Succor Advisory Board will report to the Executive Board’s Vice President and 'Volunteer Executive Volunteer’ and work alongside other Succor Ambassadors to make sure all needs and desires are met of the organization.

This role would suit someone with:

  1. Passion for volunteering, learning, experiencing and desire to create healthy change.
  2. These individuals will need to possess a background in key aspects of advice tied to Succor Solutions Mission. Emergency preparedness, response and recovery; Federal/State Liaisons; Judicial and Legal; First responders; Military; Education; Human Services and Resources; Quality of Life Activities and Culture; Public Transportation; Economy.
  3. "Love your neighbor as yourself there is no commandment greater than these."
  4. Is conscious about what they say, do and are positive about their experiences in life.
  5. Can be flexible with their time, schedule to meet need and desire, goals and objectives.
  6. Individuals over the age of 45, which would like to mentor individuals between the ages of 18-44.
