  • Listen to victim’s stories and offer support
  • Help them find clarity
  • Show them that they can explore alternative solutions
  • Allow the victim to choose her next step
  • Provide a predictable and stable experience
  • Guarantee support for all members
  • Be aware of the whole group and each individual
  • Help each victim recognize her own coping skills

Responsibilities

  • Have an overall understanding of Domestic Abuse
  • Oversee the meeting and maintain the flow of dialogue
  • Refer to community resources as appropriate
  • Set boundaries for yourself
