Read, Write to Lead is a 1-week literacy program focused on reading, writing, and fun for students grades K-6! There will be games, writing and reading stations, snacks, and fun! We are looking for volunteers for Monday, July 14th and Friday, July 18th from 12-4 pm!

Mission Statement

Boy With a Ball exists to better cities by reaching young people and equipping them to be leaders capable of turning and transforming their communities.

Description

Boy With a Ball Global is a convening intermediary organization that works to better cities by reaching young people and equipping them as leaders to turn and transform their own communities.

This work is done through:
-developing and implementing innovative youth, family and community development methodologies,
-founding, equipping and supporting local, indigenous-led youth development organizations in cities around the world,
-weaving international youth development communities of practice and
-advocating for best practices in youth development.

Our offices are currently located in Atlanta, Georgia.

Currently Boy With a Ball Global has founded organizations in Costa Rica, Nicaragua and the United States and we are currently working to begin in Atlanta, Georgia and in Beirut, Lebanon.

Boy With a Ball Global has also launched the Institute for International Youth Development as a platform for developing an international community of practice around best practices in youth development for non-Boy With a Ball youth serving organizations

  • We would love fun, caring people looking to make a difference within their own community! Spanish speaking is a plus but not necessary! Also, having good communication skills and being passionate about youth are helpful.
