We are in the process of setting up a worldwide volunteer organisation to address the shortfall of ventilators, oxygen and medical professionals to fill the medical needs of those acquiring the virus Covid 19 in circumstances where there is an adequate medical facilities.

We need someone to liaise with all of the key personnel within our organisation and to assist in locating and acquiring suitable volunteers in accordance with the task specifications.

Each department head acquiring volunteers will provide specific core competencies required to accomplish the needed tasks. They will provide the human resources manager such information to enable the human resources manager to unburden each department by providing shortlist recommendations and resolve any issues.

The human resources manager will also be the first resource for any volunteer experiencing intrapersonal difficulties or other elements that they are fighting differently coping with.

This is a good position for someone seeking to prove themselves in this line endeavour so as to demonstrate or future employers and those chosen profession that they are competent in a cultural, varied technical and internationally fragmented organisation.

A ventilator from first principles to increase the accumulated chances of survival in the COVID-19 Crisis

Description

We are a non-profit charitable trust aiming to produce a low-cost Ventilator and distribute it for a "What you see fit" price around the world to those who need it the most. Our Ventilator is different from other emergency Ventilators in that it will be controllable over the Internet, with the medical professional observing the Patient over a phone camera, thus reducing viral load on the medical professionals at the front line, enabling those in stable countries to help and allowing one doctor to have an overview over many patients. Using latest technology, we seek to harvest the connectivity of our Ventilator to gather vast amounts of data to identify effective treatment patterns and automize as much of the treatment as possible, releasing pressure from overwhelmed facilities.

Version 1 of the Ventilator software is now in testing and we are working on the communication protocols and circuitry. Parts cost are currently less than 80$ but are estimated to rise to 150$

Our roadmap consists of 4 Versions which can be deployed over the internet. It is envisaged that the Ventilator will be assembled by qualified volunteers, go through centralized quality control and then distributed to places of greatest needs on an international basis. Once enough funding is raised, a part of the workload will be outsourced to specialized companies.

  • We don't know if there is going to be a vaccine for Covid 19 tomorrow but probably there won't be for at least 12-18 months and come to that we don't even know if there is going to be a vaccine that is going to provide long-term immunity.
  • Able to have a high level of autonomy yet be very supportive of the technical needs of the various departments while also accommodating and supporting the volunteers wherever possible
