We Connect The Dots
We are in need of mentors to help during our summer CreatingSTEAM program. This is a virtual opportunity volunteer experience. All mentors will be required to supervise and look over a group of 6-8 students ages 13-18. Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, and Minecraft Education Edition will be useful, as the students will be meeting and collaborating on these platforms.
If you are unfamiliar with these applications, all mentors will receive a two day training beforehand to adapt. Please be aware that the time commitment is for two full weeks 8:30am-4:30pm EST. Depending on availabilities there may be exceptions.
All volunteers must schedule a 30 minute interview with our volunteer management team prior to being accepted as a mentor for the program.

We Connect The Dots will provide the necessary work skills needed for students to build strong careers in STEAM roles. By engaging in a partnership with communities, industry leaders, students and teachers, we will reduce the number of jobs that are filled by students outside the US. Creating a greater awareness to parents and students of the career possibilities and the skills necessary to succeed. Through an accelerated program and project based learning students will gain the experience that matches todays real world careers.
