Intermediate-experienced sewers can help local hospitals and non-profits by sewing masks from the comfort of your home.
JAMs, a local sewing group, has been answering this community need and has sewn over 1,000 masks over the past few months. As you know, the need is great and they could use a few more volunteers who could help. Volunteers receive a pattern via email, complete some and set them aside to be picked up at an arranged time. You would simply set the items outside and they would be picked up from your doorstep.
This is a great opportunity to help from the comfort of your home. We look forward to hearing from you.
