Different areas of volunteering:
- Delivering meals and supplies to formerly homeless individuals with disabilities who are currently housed in Los Angeles.
- Gatherer: Coordinate with staff to pick-up food donations from community sites.
- Project Site Meal Service: Assist a staff in distributing meals to participants at a supportive service housing building.

Description
We are on the front lines of the homeless crisis in Los Angeles County. Housing Works is recognized by The County of Los Angeles Department of Health Services, Mayor Eric Garcetti, Supervisor Sheila Kuehl, United Way, The Corporation for Supportive Housing and many others, as one of the top providers of permanent supportive housing for the homeless in Los Angeles County. We work with the most challenging cases of chronic homelessness, in many cases housing folks who have lived on the streets for decades.

- Must be at least 18
- Volunteers can pick number of days per week they'd like to commit to. Depending on volunteer task, a day of volunteering can be between 1-4 hours.
- For those delivering meals to Homes in the community a Driver's License and proof of car insurance is requires. (Ask about Mileage compensation)
