We are a busy medical company that has multiple projects going on. Sometimes the projects are geared toward our medical company and sometimes they are not in the medical wheel house.
The position would entail a lot of innovative thinking, creativity, variety, and flexibility. This intern would perform administrative tasks in our corporate office in Westminster, CA.
Collecting information to go further on a project
Assisting with ongoing social media postings
Auditing of files
Assisting Social Worker with finding patient placement
Assisting Spiritual Care Coordinator with sending out bereavement cards
Assisting intake with running insurance
Assisting HR with onboarding process of new interns/ volunteers
Updating medical software tracking through DSL and Hospice MD
Preparing patient charts and EOB kits
Conduction research on various projects
Microsoft Office applications/ basic office equipment

To provide the highest individualized service that supports patients and families physically, emotionally and spiritually, emphasizing comfort and dignity, allowing patients to remain independent for as long as possible and in familiar surroundings. They offer bereaved and administrative support as well as music and pet therapy. We are always looking for licensed volunteers who want to provide personalized care such as hair styling and massage. Whatever your skill level, we would love to talk to you. Veterans strongly encouraged to apply, as well as bilingual Chinese, Korean Spanish and Vietnamese.
Our volunteers serve as an integral part of the interdisciplinary team in various settings, providing compassionate care for patients and their families.
