July 2020 - DIY Neighborhood Cleanup Take action in your community to remove debris before it enters our waterways! This summer’s event is a DIY "Do it yourself" Neighborhood Cleanup! We want to encourage YOU to hit those places in YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD where you’ve noticed sadly forgotten or misplaced trash. We welcome everyone in the Tampa Bay region to participate. Please help spread the word by inviting your friends and family to join! How will we know when and where you clean up? Your cleanup efforts can take place on any day within the month of July. On June 30, we will send all registered volunteers a link with a survey created by Tampa Bay Watch on any smartphone or tablet device. You and your group will fill out the short survey during your cleanup, click submit, and the data will be sent directly to Tampa Bay Watch. Your safety is most important to us! Please do not put yourself at risk for any reason, and follow all CDC COVID-19 Guidelines during your cleanup. We want everyone to be able to participate this July, so if you need cleanup supplies, we encourage you to borrow from Tampa Bay Watch! Please fill out the supply request form, and our team will be in touch with details regarding supply pickup. All supply request forms must be filled out by June 30.
Please click here to register for the cleanup.

Mission Statement
Tampa Bay Watch, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit stewardship program dedicated exclusively to the protection and restoration of the marine and wetland environments of the Tampa Bay estuary through scientific and educational programs.
Description
Founded in 1993, we perform a variety of habitat restoration and protection activities throughout the year utilizing thousands of volunteers to help the bay recover from its environmental threats. Individuals of all ages from families, community groups, and schools participate in native grass plantings, oyster bar construction, coastal cleanups, and wildlife protection each year demonstrating environmental stewardship in its purest form. The efforts of Tampa Bay Watch to restore and protect the bay's habitat through stewardship provide effective long-term improvements to the bay and empower our community to counteract local environmental problems. Learning how to achieve and maintain a healthy environment is a legacy that will influence our children and future generations for years to come.
