We are looking for someone(s) to assist us with our workforce development program. Some of the duties for the position;

Manages the development and implementation of economic and workforce development.

Overseeing all federal and state workforce training programs and funding streams.

Manages and assists in the grant application process for potential funding sources for economic development projects.

Establishes and maintains strategic partnerships to address local and regional workforce needs.

Fostering the creation of high quality jobs, preparing and training residents for in-demand opportunities

We provide Information Technology and Cybersecurity training to under privileged and under served communities. We aim to help fill the void of qualified minority cybersecurity professionals.

Description

WITHIN U is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the number of underprivileged and underserved students entering the area of information technology. WITHIN U is committed to serving the communities of Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia by delivering STEM education to students of all ages and preparing them for careers in the fast-paced information technology industry. WITHIN U specializes in STEM education, emphasizing cyber security, networking, network security, and cloud computing industry-recognized certifications. Services provided by WITHIN U includes mentoring, career development preparation and workshops, apprenticeships, career workshops, networking events and partnerships with local businesses.

WITHIN U provides certification training courses for AWS, Cisco, CompTIA, EC-Council, Palo Alto, Splunk and VMware.
