Have time available this summer? Have an outgoing personality and like interacting with people?
As LA County starts to reopen, we are going back to our normal services as well and we need help! We are a community resource center in Inglewood serving the local LAX community's poverty-level families by providing many services such as, food and diapers to families, sack lunches, hygiene kits and showers to homeless, and financial assistance to families in need. While it is necessary for us to go back to normal, we also need to ensure we meet the necessary precautions for Covid-19.
We need volunteers to help direct clients to ensure with physical distancing by limiting client flow in the lobby and taking their temperature. We have several shifts available. Our hours are 8:30-5pm, (closed for lunch, noon to 1pm), on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Two shifts available, 9-12pm or 1-4pm. (Bilingual helpful)
