Are you doing weekly shopping for your household? We invite you to help a senior at the same time by serving as a volunteer grocery shopper. We are recruiting healthy volunteers to shop for isolated seniors so they can remain safely at home. All volunteers will receive a safety training and will be background checked. Please Note: background checks can take up to 1 week to complete.

This opportunity lists it's location as the Volunteer Center's building in Santa Cruz. In reality though, volunteers will be serving around Santa Cruz County by going to the grocery store and then delivering groceries to the home's of recipients. Volunteers will not be spending any time at the Volunteer Center's office.
