We Are Finesse is a fairly new 501(c)(3). Our culture is youthful, fun, loving, and creative. It is a requirement that interested individuals be a leader/self-starter.

Interns will directly support the business on all efforts relating to We Are Finesse! Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube. This includes community management, content creation and sourcing, talent sourcing, social strategy, and analytics, writing, video creation, product reviews, and lots more. A typical day starts with interacting with our team, and our audience - checking in, greeting them, and capturing the content they share for monitoring and record-keeping. We are looking for several interns across the globe to fill the positions listed below. If you think you have what it takes...Let's do this!

REQUIREMENTS

  • Top-notch communication skills and ability to draft an email.
  • Strong attention to detail and thorough organization skills.
  • Ability to successfully juggle multiple tasks in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Positive, can-do attitude, love people, and adaptable.
  • A computer, and internet to perform duties as assigned.
  • Some knowledge of mental health, suicide prevention, or a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work amongst a diverse group of humans

Mission Statement

Welcome to Finesse Our Minds (FOM) we are a nonprofit addressing our young humans' global mental health challenges. Our goal: Shatter stigmas, provide resources, and empower young humans through community-building and peer support. We aim to equip young humans with the tools they need to recognize warning signs of struggle and take care of their mental health. United, we'll ensure no one faces their journey alone. Let's do this! How to Get Involved: Application Process: Complete our online application (https://forms.gle/pyu8vwd57CUFDHnh9). Applicants must be at least 13 years old or the legal age in their specific state, with guardian approval if under 18. All volunteers and interns must commit to a minimum of 6 months and undergo a background check.

Description

  • Finesse Our Minds is a non-profit organization founded in May 2019 by a millennial, L.Finesse Humxn, who realized the importance of spreading awareness and preventing the negative effects of dark thoughts after surviving multiple suicide attempts.
  • It's natural for people to experience dark or negative thoughts from time to time - and we encourage owning our feelings! However, if these thoughts become persistent and intrusive, they can impact our mental health and well-being.
  • L.Finesse’s personal experience with dark thoughts has inspired the organization's mission to promote awareness and education on the reality of dark thoughts and their negative effects (such as mental health struggles and suicidal/self-harm tendencies) in young people worldwide and empower them to transform their lives through constant peer support and life-saving resources.
We encourage all volunteers to be proactive in spreading awareness. Share our mental health survey with five people you know and join our Discord server to provide free 24/7 peer support.
